Rules

1. This competition is open to any Western Group.
2. The competition is held in two stages, prelims and finals. Each group has to submit a list of at least 8 songs before the draw of lots. 3. In prelims, a group will be required to perform at least three numbers of their
choice and one number of the judges' choice within 30 minutes. (Amps On to amps off)
4. In the finals each group will have to play 4+1 numbers within a time limit of 40 minutes (amps On to amps off).
5. Marks will be deducted for exceeding the time limit.
Equipment provided will be:
            One bass amplifier speaker
            One lead amplifier speaker
            Adequate microphones
            Drum set (you can bring along your own cymbals and chokes/high hats)
            10,000 watts P.A. system
6. Groups will have to bring their own instruments and special effects. However, programmed music is not allowed.
7. We will not be held responsible for the failure of any instrument.
8. Tuning facility will be provided backstage.
9. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
10. We reserve the right to make any last minute change in the rules, of which the participants will be intimated at the venue.
